beauty | meet your new garnier ambassadors
When I posted about looking for Garnier Pure Active Ambassadors a while back, I didn’t anticipate the response I received. I mean, I had my emails and my Facebook notifications popping for about a month straight filled with eager people wanting to grasp this opportunity. And when I sent out over a hundred application forms and received quite a number of them back, I did not envy the decision the Garnier team had to make – because if this was my response, I wonder how they’d cope with five times the volume.
event | don’t conform – punk & ivy x LEGiT
On the 28th of May, I went to the media evening for LEGiT x Punk & Ivy’s Don’t Conform range at the Rockwell in Cape Town. It was the final media showcase of Punk & Ivy’s range, and I was so happy that I got to attend (despite writing an exam the next day, oops). It was MC’d by Zizo Beda, and I also got to see a few familiar faces like Siki Msuseni and Anja van der Spuy (finally!!)

events | besties before boys with JT One
a few weeks ago, on the 11th of november, my bestie, grace, and i had the awesome opportunity to go to JT One‘s most epic slumber party at the Inanda Club in sandton. the event was held as an ode to the fans of JT One; a celebration of friendship! it was a girls only party, with the only boys invited being the beautiful male models that they got to serve us and party with us (can i just add that if i had to die by being overfed by pretty boys, it would be a pretty chill way to go).
